Today, I come to the city council as a rateayer and I am as a rateayer. I'm here today to urge the city council to accept the appeal and reject the scattergood EIR and obviously reagendize this item. As a rateayer, I'm very concerned about the cost. The cost of the scattergood conversion project is hugely expensive. The estimates done in 2023 started 800 million and credible cost estimates suggest that this will probably double.
